The Tree Rose aka "Cecil Brunner"
c.1956. Photographer: Will. 35mm Ansco Color slide.

The thing was so lush it completely obscured the old acacia stump it was growing on. At its base to the right are the pink blossoms of what we always called an "old-fashioned" or "cabbage" rose.

The pile of rocks and the shallow ditch for a drain pipe indicate that the new fish pond is under construction.

The red building is part of Hil Probert's car agency, now the Lark Creek Shops. At this point, he was probably selling DeSotos and Plymouths, but he was a Kaiser/Fraser dealer originally.
