The original pond occupied virtually the entire planted area. I vividly recall helping break it up, as in the process I smashed my middle finger with a sledge hammer, letting out a shriek that I was told Father could hear all the way down at the Rainbow Market three blocks away.

Except for a couple of the rocks ringing it, the new pond is mostly out of sight at the right.
