Boardwalk #2

January 1956 Boardwalk #2, taken from the ridge above Magnolia Ave. During the same exceptionally high tide seen in the previous photo, the arks seem to be floating in a lake rather than fronting Corte Madera Creek. They were all removed in the 1960s, and today, only Boardwalk #1 (seen farther along on the bend of the creek) survives. The area was later landfilled for the Larkspur Isle development.
