January 4, 1982
This shot of the runoff flooding the corner of Magnolia and Ward shows three of the 1940s-1950s vintage Larkspur businesses still operating in 1982: the Larkspur Barber Shop, the Rainbow Market and the Coral Beauty Salon. It appears that the latter had recently been painted, and though it retained the coral color, it obliterated their brush script sign that had been painted across the front. A smaller version of it can be seen in the left window. The teensy white building next door had been a barber shop in my day.
