This angle shows a selection of Larkspur fire trucks from the early 1960s. At left is the 1946 American-LaFrance engine. Next to it, the GMC that was the first response engine at this time. The pickup at the right was donated to the city in 1961 by the Larkspur Volunteer Fire Department, purchased with funds from the Rose Bowl dances (source: Marin Independent-Journal, Sept. 26, 1961).
