Bells n Whistles

I know lots of you are pretty computer savy and don't need any of my silly suggestions, but some of you have been asking me how you can do some of the little tricks I do with the computer. So, here's some tips & hints for those of you who asked.

To attach GIF images to your email:

  1. open your new mail that you want to send
  2. click on the spot in the mail where you're going to put it.
  3. click on insert
  4. select picture
  5. click on the browse button
  6. find and select the GIF file on your disk
  7. click the open button
  8. click OK and your done!

  • Cartoon Sounds:

    Here's a fun way to liven things up! Cartoon sounds has lots of fun wav files. Mike once suggested replacing the windows sounds with these and we laughed our buts off.

    To change the sounds your Windows computer makes:

    1. find a sound "wav" file you like and save it in a file where you'll remember it
    2. click on your start bar
    3. go to settings
    4. select control pannel
    5. click on the sound icon
    6. select the sound that you want to replace
    7. then click on the browse button and find the file.wav that you saved.
    8. when your done replacing your sound files, click the save as button to name your sound theme.
    9. click OK and your done!
