Aikido for Kids

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Two Rock Aikido of Petaluma is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for kids to begin their study of Aikido in a supportive, non-competitive environment.

Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded by master Morihei Ueshiba. The techniques of Aikido rely not on physical strength, but on circular motions that blend with the energy of an attacker. Practitioners of Aikido not only develop a powerful system of self-defense, but also a set of values and attitudes that seek to make conflict unnecessary.

 

 

Kids as young as 6 years of age can benefit from practicing Aikido. We strive to attain the following goals with our students:

o   Provide overall body conditioning

 

Dues are $25 per child, per month. Kids 6 years and older may enroll and enter training at any time.  Feel free to bring your child to the dojo to observe a class session.

 

Classes are currently held Mondays from 4:00 to 5:30pm at:
