Downtown Bolinas

There's nothing quite like downtown Bolinas, a mere ten-minute drive from the Beach House. Here, with the water and mountains as backdrop, the sixties are alive and well as locals, surfers and craft vendors keep the three-block stretch of historic buildings colorful and relaxed. Along with a handful of shops and restaurants, you'll find a grocery and natural foods store, a video store and changing exhibits at the local museum.

West Marin County

West Marin offers a feast for visitors. With miles of beaches (one a five-minute walk from the Beach House), hundreds of trails, vivid green horse pastures and the uniquely beautiful Bolinas Lagoon, the area offers an array of opportunities for outdoor exploration. The nearby towns of Point Reyes, Stinson Beach and Inverness offer award-winning restaurants along with small galleries, shops and off-the-beaten-path discoveries.
