PCI works primarily where human development and the natural world interact.  Our vision is that people and communities thrive in a healthy, resilient environment.

PCI began in 1985. We have a year-round staff of 25 working in interdisciplinary teams of scientists, civil engineers and landscape architects, watershed planners, regulatory compliance specialists, and builders. The cross-pollination helps everyone involved anticipate potential problems and realize opportunities. PCI can take a restoration or mitigation project from an idea all the way through implementation or we can focus on one aspect with a well-grounded understanding of how that piece contributes to the success of the whole. 

PCI is a California licensed construction contractor (#590735). We are also certified as a Woman-Owned Business and as a California Small Business.  We meet the criteria for being a small business for most federal projects.
