Holly Rudin Grill Power GRILL TIMES
Two-Sided Contact Grill: Onions 7 to 10 minutes/apples 5 to 6 minutes/pork 5 to 7 minutes for medium. Baste with the Maple Balsamic Glaze halfway through the cooking time.

Hibachi Grill, Combination Grill or Infusion GrilI: Onions 14 to 20 minutes/apples 10 to 12 minutes/pork 10 to 14 minutes for medium. Turn the onions and apples halfway through the grilling time. Turn the pork chops halfway through the grilling time and baste the grilled side with the Maple Balsamic Glaze. Grills with lids may be covered halfway through the grilling time. Infusion grills with lids may be covered for the entire grilling time.

COOK'S NOTES
Maple Syrup is a North American original. At factories in New England and Canada, sap is sent in tubes directly from the tree to a sap house where it is boiled down. It takes approximately 35 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of maple syrup, so this labor-intensive product is expensive. You do get a lot for your money, though, because a little maple syrup goes a long way. Pure maple syrup is twice as sweet as cane or beet sugar, so you need half as much when baking or cooking. In addition, high concentrations of calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium make pure maple syrup one of the most nutritious sweeteners available. Read the label carefully when buying it though. There are government regulations both in the United States and Canada to prevent maple syrup substitutes from being sold as "pure." If the product is labeled "maple flavored syrup," it probably contains only a small amount of pure maple syrup and/or maple flavoring.
