Santa Rosa's City Council includes seven members elected from the city at large.

The Mayor is Janet Condron and the Vice-Mayor is Michael Martini.

The council members include:

Marsha Vas Dupre, Noreen Evans, Steve Rabinowitsh, Mike Runyan and Sharon Wright.

The City Council is supported by staff headed by Ken Blackman,City Manager, who has been with the city for over 30 years, and Rene Chouteau, City Attorney.

The City employs over 1,000 people organized into ten Departments. The City Council meets weekly on Tuesdays, generally beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 100 Santa Rosa Avenue (corner of Santa Rosa and Sonoma Avenues). The meetings are televised live on cable channel 70 and re-broadcast on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
