The CP8871 Looks like stunning pieces of art. Finished in either Light Birch or Dark Walnut. Cabinets are handcrafted to the highest grade of furniture quality. The 8871's curved side panels meeting gently at the rear of the loudspeaker are made of 1" MDF with 1/8" layer of natural wood. The interior of the massive cabinets contains a system of resonance reinforcing rings mounted both horizontally and vertically. A massive 2.5" thick front baffle is used to minimize cabinet resonance and provide a stable mounting surface for the time time/phase aligned drivers. All the drivers are hand picked and system matched for optimum performance.
