FILLING VALVES

ADAPTABILITY
SMB Technik
manufactures rotary rinsers, fillers, and closers. The machines can
be produced separately but more, typically, are fabricated as an integrated
monoblock. Within the monoblock, there is also some adaptability.
For example, rinser/filler/closer monoblocks can be made in either an "L"
shaped pattern or as an "in-line" pattern depending upon the customer layout
requirements. Another example is multiple closing heads incorporated
on the same monoblock. An example is a counter pressure machine outfitted
to fill glass bottles with crown caps and PET bottles with screw caps.
INTEGRATION
SMB Technik
does complete bottling line integration. Conveyor systems are individually
engineered according the customer's requirements. Additional equipment
such as labelers, packers, twist rinsers, etc. are selected in cooperation
with the customer. SMB Technik then installs and commissions the
entire packaging line.
BASIC FEATURES OF MACHINES
The machine housing frames are welded steel construction of 1.4181 (ANSI 184) stainless steel. The machine base plates are 35 mm thick steel plates (St 50) for rigidity and laminated to a covering sheet of 1.4181 (ANSI 184) stainless steel.
Skirting below the base plates consist of fixed panels or removable side covers of 1.4181 (ANSI 184) stainless steel.
The operating mechanisms are completely surrounded by macrolon safety shields. Safety shields meet both European standards and OSHA standards.
Vertically adjustable spindle legs are made of 1.4181 (ANSI 184) stainless steel.
All electrical controls are completely wired and ready for connection to the supply lines (supply lines not included). The electrical boxes are 1.4181 (ANSI 184) stainless steel.
The machines are equipped with all necessary mechanical and electrical safety devices specified by TšV, UVV, VDE, CE norm. Counter pressure machines for North America are ASME compliant.
Bottle transfer between machine functions of the monoblocks are by star wheel.

All parts coming into contact with the beverage are made of 1.4571 (ANSI 316 TI) stainless steel, food grade plastic, food grade seals, or glass.
All SMB Technik fillers are designed with a flow through pattern for sanitation and cleaning. Most machines are adaptable to a C.I.P. cleaning loop.
