April 1966
Taken from the balcony of City Hall. Notable changes since then: the front portion of the large red-roofed building, now Ristorante Fabrizio, then housed the Rose Bowl Chateau, one of Larkspur's three bars. On the side of the building is the long-standing Booth & Little Roofing sign and their overhanging eave of various-colored roof tile samples. The firm was operated from the brown house to the left, since demolished for a parking lot. Two of their red trucks are on the street, one making a left turn into the driveway, officially Cane Court on old maps. At the left, out of sight behind the corner of St. Patrick's Hall, is a white house whose basement, now a restaurant, then housed Evansco's Plumbing; you can see their free-standing white sign out front.
