Here are a few shots from the Nashville NAMM show, 2004
At the booth:
John Jorgenson stopped by the booth for awhile on Friday and signed
some autographs.
Yours truly with Rory Block
Our good buddy Hillbilly Jim (former WWF wrestling great) usually pays
us a visit. Here he is with Kelly Jordan, just to put things into perspective.
Here's Gary Mobley with guitar legend James Burton.
Jonathan McKuen and Jamie Hanna proudly display their Shubb Capos as
I grin.
The Station Inn, Friday night:
Here I am introducing John Jorgenson onto the stage.
(bassist: Charlie Chadwick)
John introduced his new signature model Saga guitar.
John also debuted a new tune he's written in the Gypsy Jazz style utilizing
a capo (Shubb, of course.) This is very unusual in this genre, and needless
to say, I was pleased.
Bluegrass guitar master Bryan Sutton was on hand for some hot licks.
Anyone who didn't already know about John's clarinet playing found out
Friday night that he's one of the best. What an incredibly talented guy!
