About Film Modules

How to Prepare Films

Go to the appropriate session page to see if there are any specific instructions and/or comments.

Before the first session devoted to that film,

FIRST read the introductory module pages (General comments, director information, character list, release information AND Module 01),

THEN view the film with care and thought.

Modules 02 and higher might be due on the first day, or later, depending on how much time is devoted to the film. See the session page(s) for details on when to read film modules with numbers higher than "01".

Table of Contents to All Film Module Pages

Core Films

*All of the core films have a gray right-hand sidebar that gives the basic film information, the basic character list, the topics relevant to this course that are usually the focus of discussion, and availability data.

Non-core films that have basic modules

*These are films I have viewed to see if they would be films that could be used in class or recommended as films for team work. My comments about this are on these informal modules as well as some other information.

Films covered in class but currently without modules (go to session page)
