Both parents have passed all the requirements for CHIC.
In all my years breeding, I have never put different color collars on a litter of puppies. But, with a very uniform litter of 6 grizzle & tans, with rapidly fading little white chest spots, I decided to do so for this litter. I figured blues and greens for the boys, and reds and purples for the girls. No sooner did I get it done, than my creative 16 year old daughter changed things around. We now have Prof. Plum, Mr. Green, and Col. Mustard for the boys, and Mrs. Peacock, Miss Scarlet, and Mrs. White for the girls!
Ch Wicklin Pop
Up SE was bred to
Ch Blumac Perfect
Game JE, repeating our 2005 litter. Puppies arrived 10/19/06 - 3 girls (1 blue
& tan and 2 grizzle & tan) and 3 boys (1 blue
& tan and 2 grizzle & tan). Puppies from the first breeding are doing well in conformation, agility and earthdog, and we expect more of the same from this litter.
Both parents have passed all the requirements for CHIC.
Ch Freilance Wacky Wicket OA OAJ ME CG started agility training last year, and this spring, at 8 years young, she has been competing in Agility Trials. She quickly earned her Novice Standard and Jumpers titles, and followed that with her Open Standard and Jumpers titles. On to Excellent, where one must be perfect...
PUPPIES - 2005
Ch Wicklin Pop
Up SE was bred to
Ch Blumac Perfect
Game JE. Puppies arrived 2/2/05 - 5 males (3 blue
& tan and 2 grizzle & tan) and 1 female (blue &
tan). Both parents are very athletic dogs, so we expect these
pups to excel in conformation and performance events.
FOURTH PHOTOSs are up! Five and six weeks, and really on the move.
Here also are a few movie clips, taken between 6 and 7 weeks. Although these have been "compressed" in Quicktime, they are still large file sizes, between 680 KB to 2 MB, so might require awhile to load, depending on your download speed. These files do require the free QuickTime Movie Player.
December 2004
We made the trip to Southern California the weekend before Christmas,
and I got my Christmas present a week early. Wicket finished
her MASTER EARTHDOG
title, earning her JE, SE,
and ME all in one year! Wicket
(far right) is shown with judge Jim Tebbetts. The day was made
even more special, as two fellow Borders also finished their
ME's. On the left is, Happy Hobbits Dalwhinnie ME "Whinnie"
who made the trip all the way from Alaska, and in the middle,
CH Thistlepatch Whurly Burr ME "Burr", who is from
Southern California. Way to go, ladies!
August 2004
Poppy earned her Senior Earthdog, passing 3 of her 4 attempts.
At the same test, Wicket surprised me by "honoring"
perfectly at her first 2 attempts at Master Earthdog. "Honoring"
is difficult for Wicket - she has a tendency to "scream"
her eagerness. After the hunt up to the tunnel, and then her
work in the tunnel, she was panting too hard to do any screaming!
Spring 2004
Wicket earned her JE in April, at her first two tests. She quickly
followed that by earning her SE in June. Her daughter, Poppy
earned her JE, and earned her first pass for her SE as well.

from previous litters, 1999, 2000 and 2002.. The 2002 litter
is not officially a "Wicklin" litter, but since these
pups are Wicket's first grandchildren, it is included here as
an "honorary" Wicklin litter.
