DESIRED FINAL SITE CONDITION:
Field 1 has a history of livestock grazing and will be enrolled in the CRP as marginal pasture. Competing vegetation will be adequately controlled to allow establishment and survival of desirable CRP trees and shrub species for the CRP contract period. Site preparation for tree/shrub plantings will utilize a Hydro-tiller that will used in late fall 2000.
The Wild Thyme Farm prefers not to use pesticides as a site preparation treatment.
Other requirements: If pesticides are used, follow all applicable laws and regulations when mixing and using herbicides. Dispose of unused chemicals and containers according to manufacturers, federal, state, and local regulations.
