1998 California Zinfandel

The 1998 California Syrah is making its debut. This inaugural wine is packed with ripe black cherry flavors and smoky nuance. The perfect wine to accompany your dinner table or just sip by itself. At the winery we call this our "house wine" along with the California Zinfandel. These two wines are affordable and just simply delicious.

The 1998 California Zinfandel has become a favorite amongst Cline fans. A wonderful quaffing wine at a great price.

This year's Cal Zin has a slightly more fruit structure while being intense and nicely balanced with oak. Severe selection criteria and master blending show in the final product, which showcases a wide array of dark berry fruit including black cherry and raspberry.

Over 90 member wineries from California, Idaho, Virginia and Washington will be pouring barrel samples and new releases of American Rhone wines: including Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Cinsault, Carignane, Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and blends.

Bread, cheese and food to match the wines will be provided. Also, featuring a silent auction during the tasting.
