What's a good system for communicating with life on other planets?

Work

I work at UC San Francicso with the Computer Graphics Laboratory, on volume data display tools in Chimera. These are being used to look at the spatial organization of chromosomes in the cell nucleus, and protein structures determined by electron cryo-microscopy.

I used to develop an NMR assignment program Sparky used in determining atomic resolution protein structures.
