is situated between Fitch Mountain to the east and a range
of low mountains to the west, and is located 75 miles north
of San Francisco off Highway 101. The town was incorporated
in 1867 and developed around a central Spanish-style plaza.
Historic homes and quaint storefronts retain the flavor
of its rich heritage. The plaza is lovely and a great center
for the community.

Geyserville
The
tiny town of Geyserville is six miles north of Healdsburg
and takes its name from the many geothermal geysers gracing
its landscape. It is one of the many unicorporated towns and
is under the jurisdiction of the County Government. The business
section of town is one short block. Geyser Peak forms a backdrop
to this little gem of northern Sonoma County. The wines from
this region are becoming world famous. Perhaps one of the
counties best kept secrets, Geyserville still preserves small
town charm.
