Widespread Panic: Monster Zin Attack Ravages US Market

Cline Cellars 1995 California Zinfandel

Zinsylvania, CA-- It's alive!! In the darkest corner of their secret laboratory tucked away in the most remote badlands of Zinsylvania, mad scientist Matt Frankencline and his mainacal hunchback assistant Aristole have created a monster. Cobbling together ferociously concentrated fruit from gnarled, old vine vineyards in various clandestine locations across the state,Cline Cellars has produced a California Zinfandel the likes of which few have encountered before.

Even the diabolic Count Fred Cline, lord of all Zinsylvania, has been reluctant to let this depraved monster escape from the dungeons of Cline Cellars. But California Zinfandel has broken free of its chains, and its reign of terror has cast fear into the hearts of all pretenders to the Zinfandel throne.

Lock your doors at night and pull the shutters closed; we are no longer safe. With its vicious dark berry aromas, massive flavors of black fruit, violent spice and a positively uncompromising mouthfeel, Cali Zinfandel is terrrozing the country.

Best enjoyed with caution in the privacy of your own home, Cline Cellars' 1995 California Zinfandel has put the killer back into the wine.

Single Anonymous Poem Seeks Authour

Winemaker Matt Cline is extremely familiar with the poetry that graces the back label of his new Cline Cellars California Zinfandel . In fact, he has been sitting on it for well over ten years. As a passionate young student of enology at UC Davis in the mid 1980's, Matt stumbled across a little poem that struck a resonate chord in his vinous imagination. Pressed into a corner of his wallet, this curious verse had long since been forgotten...That is, until the introduction of Cal Zinfandel to the Cline Cellars' portfolio.
