Welcome to Advanced Illustrator
This is an 8-week section for the experienced user. It is a bi-platform course and is a continuation of Illustrator topics from CIS 73.36. It is not an art or design class. Topics will include creating customized Illustrator settings, color settings and management, printing concepts, actions, charts and graphs, and transferring documents between Illustrator and Photoshop. We will also dig deeper into layers, opacity masks, and effects (oh my!). I will also touch on many features new to version 10. Each class will include a hands-on project where you will explore in even greater depth the wonderful world of ILLUSTRATOR. This class focuses primarily on print. Illustrator Web Graphics (CIS 73.39A) begins 3/25 and focuses on Illustrator's web tools. Listed below are classroom materials available for downloading.
