Founded in 1858 by Jacob Gundlach, and joined by Charles Bundschu in 1864, this winery is one of the oldest in California. It's currently run by the fifth and sixth generations of the Bundschu clan. Gundlach-Bundschu is still known for the German-style wines produced since the winery's inception, but they have expanded their roster to include other varietals.
