Session RRR Periods (Tuesday / Thursday)
Topics
This page will have a list of students who have signed up for meetings during RRR week, when ready to be published.
Instructions (Fall 2012)
After submission of Step 03 we will respond to your work, perhaps making suggestions for Step 04. If you would like to talk with us about those suggestions, or anything else regarding the essay process, please do this:
Wait until you have received a Step 03 response. Read all the comments on the Step 03 response by your mentor. If you are sure you would like to meet (no" just in case" reservations please!), email Wallace with the subjectline J7A_S04_LASTNAME_classname rrrsignup saying who your mentor is (so I don't have to look it up). That's all you need.

RRR schedule for Thursday Dec 6, 2012
Instructions for those who have signed up for appointments with their mentors:
Meet in the regular room, LeConte 2.
Prepare your questions ahead of time since your time is limited. Ask yourself what is the most important question(s) that you want to ask and prioritize around that.
Let your mentor know briefly what your paper is about and the comments she made on it. It might seem like we know this but when there are a lot of interviews back-to-back it gets a bit hard to switch gears.
Please note that you will have your time slot and only your time slot. If you arrive late for it you will have only as much time as is left in your time slot. Please be there early and signal to the mentor that you are there (because if you are not the mentor will probably decide to extend the time with whomever she is talking with at the time). Signal that you are there but keep enough distance that the conversations between mentor and mentee can't be overheard.
Have a nice Thursday!
John-Margi-Shelby meet at 10:55, probably not in the room. If you arrive to the room and no one is there, please don't worry. We'll be on time.
