Indexes

These are some good periodical indexes. Some of them even make available full text of articles — either for free or a fee. However, some of the best periodical indexes are available through your library. They probably have some with free full text, and they probably offer it via their Web page. You don't even need to leave the house; you just need a library card. If you live in the U.S., see my U.S. Libraries page to find your nearest library. Otherwise, use one of my other library directories

    Dissertations from UMI Proquest

    Ph.D. dissertations from almost every American university are available in PDF (or print) for a reasonable fee. Some master's theses are available, too

  • Dissertation Express - Search here if you know the author or exact title of the dissertation you want
  • Proquest Dissertations and Theses - A more complete database of dissertations. Ask your library if they subscribe
